Today I am turning my first vase out of Sourwood

I found this interesting piece of Sourwood. The Sourwood had some large knots that were a challenge to knock off with my gouge tool. I had the shavings flying. Well I am still in the learning phase and my tools weren't the sharpest so my tools kept catching. I continued to smooth down and finally ended up with a goblet!!!!
