Artist’s Spotlight- Rat Rod Steel
Here at PhDs our backbone is built by local artists, and it doesn’t get more local than this! Born and raised in Troutman NC, this welder has the amazing ability to breathe life into any kind of steel. With a mix of refurbished and brand-new metal, this crafter has the uncanny ability to pull images from his imagination and place them straight into our showroom windows. When he’s not wowing us with his artistry, he’s creating purposeful pieces for our displays. Just like family, Rat Rod Steel is part of our hearts; Wings and all.
