This is a beautifully detailed, laser engraved and precision cut topographical Map of Lake Saxon in Pascoe County, Florida with the following interesting stats carved into it:
- Surface Area: 81 Acres
- Shoreline: 3 Miles
- Avg. Depth: 9 Feet
- Max. Depth: 20 Feet
Interesting factoid: Saxon Lake joined Lake Padgett and East Lake, along with a few small, un-named ponds as the centerpiece of a large development on Land O Lakes, about 20 miles north of Tampa Bay. A series of drainage canals connect the three lakes with Bell, King and Joyce Lakes as well as each other. The lake is long and narrow and is usually called the "ski lake" by residents. Overflow exits the complex from Lake Padgett through a culvert to a series of wetlands and lakes and eventually, Culver Creek. Thus, Saxon Lake water ends up in Tampa Bay.
(Not all of this information made it onto the map, we just love to read up on the lakes we design).
