This is a beautifully detailed, laser engraved and precision cut Map of Lake Mackintosh in Guilford County, North Carolina with the following interesting stats carved into it:
- Surface Area: 1,150 Acres
- Shoreline: 61 Miles
- 6 Miles Long
Interesting factoid: The Lake is fed by two tributaries, the Greater Alamance and Little Alamance Creeks. These creeks have been the primary source of stocking fish for the lake.
A Revolutionary War commemorative monument is located at the park overlooking the lake. In March of 1781, American forces ambushed British troops along Cross Creek Road as the British marched from Wilmington to the Site of the Battle of Guilford Courthouse. The battle was known as the Battle of Clapp’s Mill. (Not all of this information made it onto the map, we just love to read up on the lakes we design).
