This is a beautifully detailed, laser engraved and precision cut topographical Map of Johnson’s Pond in Kent County, Rhode Island with the following interesting stats carved into it:
- Surface Area: 659 Acres
- Shoreline: 17 Miles
- Max. Depth: 36 Feet
- Avg. Depth: 19 Feet
Interesting factoid: Johnson's Pond is also known as Flat River Reservoir. Damming the south branch of the Pawtuxet River near where it is joined by the Flat River created the 659-acre lake. Exactly when it was first dammed and by whom is lost in early American history. Most logically, someone named Johnson rebuilt one of the more recent (lost) dams in the area and the pond was named after him.
