Interesting factoid: Jackson Lake was formed by the impoundment of the Alcovy, South, and Yellow Rivers and Tussahaw Creek. Central Georgia Power Company built Lloyd Shoals Dam to form Lake Jackson and began generating hydroelectric power in 1911.
